Stratos is always looking for new voices to join our editorial project. Whether you're an experienced writer or an emerging voice with a passion for economic and financial topics, we welcome your interest in contributing to our platform.
We are currently accepting applications to become a regular contributor and join the core team behind Stratos. Applicants may be assigned to one or more of our current three editorial areas:
Macroeconomics
Corporate Finance
Capital Markets
To apply, please send an email to stratos.research.info@gmail.com with the subject line: Application – [Your Name]. Your email should include an updated CV. We are open to all backgrounds, thus we strongly invite you to send your applications. Good luck!
Not ready to commit as a regular contributor? Stratos also accepts occasional contributions from external writers. You can submit either an abstract or the full article to the same email address. If your piece is of interest, our editorial team will reach out to discuss next steps, including revisions and the potential for publication.
We believe in fostering an open and inclusive environment for knowledge-sharing. At Stratos, the quality of ideas takes precedence over credentials—what matters is the rigor and value of the contribution.
We accept the following types of content:
Commentaries:
These submissions offer a personal and informed opinion on a specific topic. They reflect the author’s unique perspective while maintaining analytical depth.
Analysis and Reports:
These are objective and comprehensive explorations of a topic, supported by scholarly evidence and rigorous structure. Analysis should not reflect the author's personal opinions.
Rebuttals:
Written in response to previously published articles on Stratos, rebuttals offer an informed counterpoint or alternative perspective. They should be respectful, evidence-based, and intellectually constructive.
All contributors—whether occasional or part of the editorial team—must adhere to the following submission guidelines:
Submissions should be sent as .docx files. PDF and other formats will not be accepted.
All content must be original and unpublished. We do not accept previously published material.
Articles will be attributed to the author by full name. Once published on Stratos, the content may not be republished elsewhere.
Articles may be reshared by Stratos on its official channels; authors may not republish content under other banners.
Use AP Style for formatting. Resources are freely available online for reference.
Use American English for spelling and terminology.
In-line hyperlinks must be used for citations. Only reputable sources (scholarly journals, credible newspapers, established publications) are acceptable.
All submissions will undergo fact-checking. Plagiarism—intentional or accidental—will result in immediate rejection or removal.
Avoid excessive jargon or overly academic language. Our goal is to make complex topics accessible to a broad, international audience.
Provide sufficient context for your arguments. Do not assume prior knowledge or make references that may be unclear to a global readership.
Articles should have a clear structure, including:
A compelling title
A descriptive subtitle
Logical subheadings to guide the reader
By submitting an article, you agree to Stratos’ editorial review process, which may involve stylistic or structural edits. Substantial changes will always be discussed with the author before publication.
