We accept the following types of content:
Commentaries
These submissions offer a personal and informed opinion on a specific topic. They reflect the author’s unique perspective while maintaining analytical depth.
Analysis and Reports
These are objective and comprehensive explorations of a topic, supported by scholarly evidence and rigorous structure. Analysis should not reflect the author's personal opinions.
Rebuttals
Written in response to previously published articles on Stratos, rebuttals offer an informed counterpoint or alternative perspective. They should be respectful, evidence-based, and intellectually constructive.
Insights - New!
This category allows authors to contribute with shorter, timely pieces focused on current economic and financial topics, emerging trends, or early-stage analysis. Designed for content with a shorter analytical lifespan, articles are less structured and more agile than full research papers while maintaining Stratos’ analytical standards. Contributions typically range between 300 and 600 words, offering a fast and accessible way to participate for both new and established voices.
All contributors—whether occasional or part of the editorial team—must adhere to the following submission guidelines:
Submissions should be sent as .docx files. PDF and other formats will not be accepted.
All content must be original and unpublished. We do not accept previously published material.
Articles may be reshared by Stratos on its official channels; authors may not republish content under other banners.
Use AP Style for formatting. Resources are freely available online for reference.
Use American English for spelling and terminology.
In-line hyperlinks must be used for citations. Only reputable sources (scholarly journals, credible newspapers, established publications) are acceptable.
All submissions will undergo fact-checking. Plagiarism—intentional or accidental—will result in immediate rejection or removal.
Provide sufficient context for your arguments. Do not assume prior knowledge or make references that may be unclear to a global readership.
Articles should have a clear structure, including:
A compelling title
A descriptive subtitle
Logical subheadings to guide the reader
By submitting an article, you agree to Stratos’ editorial review process, which may involve stylistic or structural edits. Substantial changes will always be discussed with the author before publication.
Register by submitting your email and CV to join the project.
